actually Bob, we can advertise like that in Singapore. the legal boundaries surrounding advertising is surprisingly lax. it's just clients who have no sense of humour and agencies with no cojones to try.
anyway, good to see you're keeping well in the other home.
there was a starhub campaign a while back that had animated boxers, one in green and one in red. the idea, obviously, was that the green hero ran circles around the red giant, eventually knocking him out.
both companies were explicitly named for about a month or so before the ad was pulled and revamped.

closest i've seen are the references to the green, red and orange umbrellas of the telcos but no dead centre pointing.
