Field of Dreams

Time check - 3 days before lift-off.

Cancelled all my Saturday evening plans to make something happen with the Dad yesterday.

Overheard from mum that Dad would love to watch the closing game at the National Stadium (yes it's the National Stadium's last ever game ever, or not, there have been many claims to the very last ones).

Flew to the nearest SISTIC and got them tickets for the mum, dad and myself. Damage? 63 big ones. Worth it? Hell yeah. You realise, at least I did that there is only one supreme absolute in this world (barring anything beyond our 4thD senses can tell us), and that is your family.

So - had a smashing time out and most priceless of all, my Dad happy taking photographs with my mum at the Stadium. Great stuff. In other news, the scoreline of both the matches played were (Singapore Ex-Internationals 1 - Malaysia Ex-Internationals 1), (Singapore 0 - Australia 3). Fantastic reliving the glory of the National Stadium with multiple Kallang Waves, and strains of Aussie cheer, almost like a welcome carpet for my departure. All's well. All's good.

Leap, and the net will appear. In every sense of the word.

Pioneering entry.

"Close your eyes and it will come to you."

So here it is, the pioneering entry. This blog chronicles the journey of a boy from the sunny island set in the sea located somewhere 01º 22' N, 103º 48' E.

More to come.
