Two Souls

Would anyone drink this? Found in a supermarket - a Korean Yakult, apparently. Biocult. How much more scary can a name get?

Two souls together.

Making life so much easier and better.

Do we live inside or outside of nature?

People say the silliest things

An ad in the Straits Times today by the World Association of Newspapers

Had to read some of them lines twice to get the humour - but it was well worth the re-read.

Convergence ---> Hybridity

It seems convergence has been the buzzword of this 21st century (think technology, culture, cognition, even simplier, think Radio - TV - to WII, all converging technologies and wants), but a few have taken this now-dated notion and realising hmm. Hybridity is a better word. This game os semantic gymnastics never ends. But I digress, here's a choice article from Seed Magazine!

"The more science advances, the less, it seems, that any one discipline holds all the answers—even to the problems that a discipline was originally conceived to answer. So it's not surprising that some of today's most innovative scientific thinkers are making breakthroughs by hybridizing multiple fields."

Go here for a brilliant article on some of the amazing young minds we have in the world today!

No Skate Boarders

Taken in tasmania. Obviously the skateboarders didn't agree with the sign and gave it a piece of their mind. Or maybe it was intentionally installed that way so they could see it clearly? Hmm.

In other news, that's Bob poseur-in in Port Arthur, Tasmania, a very early convict settlement (for the harshest repeat offenders) back when Tassie was called Van Diemen's Land. Am seated in the former court of law ruins, right behind the penitentiary.
